The Process

This is the step by step process when you place a custom order with us!

Step 1: Send us an email and give us the basics.  Name, address, phone number and we'll have your email from the message.  Give us a description of the type of guitar shape you're looking to have made and the finish you might be thinking of.

Step 2:  We will email you a list of parts.  Wood type, body type, hardware, pickups, etc.

Step 3: Fill out he form with all of the parts and colors, finish and any special instructions and requests you might have.

Step 4: We will compile a list of parts from our suppliers and get pricing for your build.

Step 5: We will send a contract to you listing the parts and materials you have requested and a down payment amount.  (The down payment is roughly a third of final build cost and typically will cover the cost of goods.  THIS DOWN PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE)

Step 6: Once you have reviewed the contract and submitted the down payment, parts and goods will be ordered.

Step 7: Once parts are in, construction will begin.  During the construction phase we will provide pictures of the build to keep you in the loop on every step of production.  From shaping the body, finishing, wiring to final set up.

Step 8: Final invoice will be sent for the remainder of the total.  Upon submission of the final payment, the item will be packaged and shipped.

The same process will apply to custom pickups too.

GUITAR NECKS

Currently we are using Warmoth necks for our builds as we slowly transition into making our own from scratch.  We find that Warmoth makes a high quality product and they have been putting necks together longer than we have.  They offer a variety of options, but we find that the tried and true works for us.  A beautiful maple neck with an Indian rosewood fret board with low and wide nickel frets.... If you're interested in a more custom neck setup, take a look at their options and we can order exactly what you want.  (Prices will adjust accordingly)  * current production times from Warmoth are approximately 6 weeks.  So that will adjust the overall time frame.
